Dr. Totty is being ordained today at the
Detroit Annual Conference, Herrick Chapel at Adrian College. Conant
has a bus leaving from the church at 1 p.m. today and returning
around 8 p.m. The fee round trip is $15.00. You must supply your
lunch as the bus will not make any stops (approximately a one hour
drive). Come and join us.

Next Sunday, May 25, Conant will host
an “Ordination Celebration” for Dr. Totty, in Fellowship Hall, right
after the worship service. Everyone should plan to attend.

The Women’s Day
Committee will hold another “Women’s Day Hustle” here at the church
on Tuesday, May 20 and May 27 at 6 p.m. A charge of $5.00 will cover

Remember: The 2008 Apportionment
for Conant Avenue totals $32,004. After calculations, the assessment
for each giving unit of the church is $337.00 for the year. We have
a total of 182 members, with 95 giving units. ($32,004 divided by 95
giving units equals $337.00.)
Remembering those who are confined, healing, and
recovering.
We must promptly notify the pastor of
illness, hospitalization, and personal sorrow.
